Jennifer Bready grew up in NC which is where her love of the beaches and marshes all began. Her richly glazed oil paintings combine a balance between reality and dreamy surrealism.
Due to her heightened color choices, her work is described as expressionism with fluid energetic brushstrokes. Although we see glimpses of O’Keefe and Hockney’s influences, it’s Jennifer’s own style of bringing a sense of spaciousness in her landscapes that is predominant.
